FULLNESS RATIO FOR THE CURTAINS
The fullness ratio for curtains refers to the ratio of the width of the fabric used in the curtains to the width of the window they're covering. This ratio determines how much fabric is gathered or pleated to create a fuller look when the curtains are drawn closed.
A common fullness ratio is 2:1, which means that for every one inch of window width, you would use two inches of fabric width. However, this can vary depending on the desired style and fabric weight. Thicker fabrics or more elaborate styles might require a higher fullness ratio to achieve the desired look.
For example, if your window is 60 inches wide, you might use 120 inches of fabric width for a 2:1 fullness ratio. Adjustments can be made based on personal preference and the specific design goals for the space.
I am a designer and have been ordering curtain panels for client projects from Rhanfold for sometime now. I love being able to choose the length and width of the panels, the fabric and color, type of lining, and choose the kind of top I want on them. I feel their pricing is very fair for a custom product, their quality of both fabric and workmanship is top notch, and their turn around time and quick shipping blows my mind every time I order! I plan to keep coming back again and again.
